We are honored to become the next chapter in O'Brien Pharmacy's remarkable history. For more than 75 years, Sean O'Brien and his father built far more than a successful pharmacy—they built lasting relationships, earned the trust of generations of families, and established a reputation for exceptional patient care within the Ballston Spa community.

When the opportunity arose to continue that legacy, we knew it was something special. O'Brien Pharmacy has long been recognized as one of the area's premier independent pharmacies, and we are humbled that Sean entrusted us with its future.

We recognize that a change in ownership naturally brings questions.

Our goal is to make this transition as seamless as possible while preserving the personalized care, trusted relationships, and commitment to our patients that have defined O'Brien Pharmacy for generations.

The entire O'Brien Pharmacy team is remaining in place, including the pharmacists and staff you've come to know and trust. Your prescriptions, patient records, and insurance information will continue without interruption, and you can expect the same personalized care that has always defined O'Brien Pharmacy.

At Kelly's Pharmacy, we share the same philosophy that has guided O'Brien Pharmacy for decades. We believe healthcare is personal. We believe relationships matter. And we believe an independent pharmacy should always put its patients first.

As part of the Kelly's Pharmacy family, you'll also have access to additional services, including medication synchronization, customized blister packaging, home delivery, immunizations, medication disposal programs, and specialized compounding. While we're excited to offer these expanded resources, our priority is not to change what makes O'Brien Pharmacy special—it's to support it and build upon the strong foundation already in place.
